I may not be able to wear menswear (well I could if I wanted!) but I do have favourites, and Hardy Amies is one of them. As a Savile Row brand, the impeccable tailoring is a given and the look is thoroughly modern, where the clothes are stunning - the fabrics beg a close up look and a lingering feel - but the man wears them, they don't wear the man. (Great bags and shoes, too. And they like yellow - that's a good thing.) You can view the runway shots at the Hardy Amies site - this post is a look at the action backstage.
If you had to get into a tux after climbing a mountain, what should your hair look like? A bit of a battle with nature figured into the concept for Mehmet Ali's collection for Hardy Amies. Toni & Guy's Head of Team, Kevin Luchmun, set out with his Session Team to create a dry, textured style to get a 'done but undone' effect that's just slightly polished.
Watch Kevin and his team create the look and hear what Mehmet Ali had to say about his mountain man inspiration:

Here are the steps and products to create the look at home:
- Prep the hair with label.m Volume Mousse and dry into the hair using a label.m Turbo Dryer 3200 whilst brushing the hair away from the face
- Work NEW label.men Deconstructor into the hair until the desired shape is achieved
- Run fingers through the top of the hair to create separation
- To add some height to the top of the hair apply label.m Texturising Volume Spray
(No mountain climbing necessary.)
