Le Voyeur (The Peeping Tom)
Architecture in a fantastical context makes a nice shift from the usual formal setting. French photographer Laurent Chéhère thinks so, too. He's taken the homes and buildings he passes in his wanderings of his hometown of Paris, paired them with his love of cinema, and made them 'float' in a series of digitally manipulated analog photographs. Five of Chéhère's works from his 'Flying Houses' series are on exhibit for the first time at Muriel Guépin Gallery in New York until February 22.
