I took a break from the laptop and walked down to the beach with Mr. and Baby Swelle today on this fine Bank Holiday Monday. It wasn't hot but very sunny and just warm enough to make the beach enjoyable (not one of those days where the sun lures you but once you get down there it's windy and cold and your nose is running down your face). The waves were decent and there were lots of surfers out and a few jet skiers who seemed to enjoy showing off. While walking down we saw a guy on a motorbike pop a wheelie and that's probably not all. What is with that?
So in the spirit of surf and sandy fun, how about beach-themed cupcakes for this Cupcake Monday?
A very ambitious Hawaiian Beach party themed cupcake tower by Gabrielle of Cake Coquette. Each was topped with hibiscus
flowers, beach balls, sand, ocean, seashells or surfboards.
