A lovely reader named Fiona told me about about a baking blog that I have gone too long not knowing about (thank you Fiona!). It's called Bakerella and it's the sweetest, pinkest (in a good way, not a Barbie way), dreamiest place I've seen that's dedicated to keeping us busy with baking ideas that are as cute as they are tasty. 

Bakerella creator Angie Dudley found a way to make cake lollies one day in her kitchen and next thing she knew she was demonstrating how to do it on Martha Stewart! You can see her work her magic here. All of her recipes are easy to make and even easier to eat. I really, really want to try her Red Velvet Cake Balls - they're like a truffle but with cakey goodness inside. Are you drooling yet? They are also the perfectly measured treat if you're torturing yourself with a resolution to lose some weight!

I couldn't not show a couple photos that Angie took at her friend's house, a woman who has dashed any hopes I may have had of turning my house into a Candy Land of sorts (that boardgame was so lame but how I loved it when I was little) because I could never do what she did. It is utterly amazing:
