These gorgeous snowy concoctions were made by the Cupcake Goddess
Sorry for the belated Cupcake Monday: I was finishing this post last night, then went up to read my daughter her bedtime stories and didn't come down until this morning! That's what happens you've only had a few hours of good sleep and her mattress is a Tempur-pedic.
Well, it hasn't snowed yet here in England and I don't expect it will until the new year, but for once I'm getting into the Christmas spirit early and I intend to make lots of festive treats. I'm going to take advantage of not being able to visit home in Canada for Christmas this year (our passports are with the Home Office with our application) and make a nice family Christmas in our new house, our first one in England which is home to our daughter. These snowflake cupcakes will be my inspiration, but their perfection will likely taunt me as I attempt to create something comparable. Hmmm...Maybe my first goal should be to merely create something edible. We shall see...

Lovely. I'm not a big cupcake maker, but this makes me want to try to whip some lovelies up too.

Absolutely loving the white on white cupcake. I would hate to eat it-- because it's so beautiful and it would be a shame to take it apart. Breathtaking!
