MIME's Vintage With a Future
This is a bit of a teaser: Hong Kong's MIME Vintage is launching a new website soon and I'll have details about buying the kinds of incredible clothes shown in these amazing photographs. What a fantastic collection of vintage - the styles, patterns and fabrics are taken from my wish list. Their fabulous finds are from Hong Kong/China, Japan, Korea, Portugal and France. MIME is a Hong Kong-based collaboration between a stylist, Juju, and a photographer, Qiqi - two close friends who share a love of art and collecting vintage and objects. The duo refer to themselves as 'Retro Futurists' and Juju, who is also an art student, tells me that lately she's very into 1950s to 2050s sci-fi style, 80s neon disco and the costumes of Chinese traditional opera. Imagine the kinds of photographs we'll be treated to next!

What beautiful photography and I adore the black & white bird dress!

I'm not sure what the animal print on the dress is (jaguar?)...but I'm in love with the dress.
