Leanne Wins Her First Project Runway Challenge!

The seventh episode of Project Runway 5 was finally posted on YouTube so I got to watch it today (I'm not complaining, I'm very grateful to those nice fans who post for all of us outside the US, I'm just antsy!).

And guess what? Leanne won the challenge! (Oh right, you know that already from the headline.) The dress you see here is her winning design, made only of carseat covers and seatbelts cut up Leanimal-style for the bodice trim. She even added some Balenciaga-esque shape on the hips for a stunning silhouette that looked brilliant coming down the runway.

Despite the fierce competition from Korto and Jerell, celebrity guest judge Rachel Zoe was 'blown away' as were Kors and Klum, and the awfully smug PR3 finalist Laura (filling in for Nina Garcia) was rather impressed, thank you very much. (Cringe. Blech.)
